What we collect
When you read the journal we collect nothing that identifies you. When you subscribe to the newsletter we keep your email address and the page you subscribed from. When you write to us through the contact form or the engagement brief we keep what you typed, your name, your email, and the time you sent it. Our hosting provider records ordinary server logs, which include your IP address for a short period.
Why
We use your email to send you the newsletter you asked for and to reply to messages you sent. We use the contents of a brief to decide whether the lab can help and to prepare a reply. We use server logs to keep the site running and to notice abuse. We do not build profiles, and we do not sell or rent any of it.
Newsletter
One welcome email when you subscribe, then one email when a new analysis is published, and nothing else. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing removes your address from the list. We do not track whether you opened an email.
Contact and engagement forms
Messages and briefs are read by a person at the lab. You get one confirmation email when you send one, and it never repeats what you wrote. They are stored in our database so we can reply and keep a record of the conversation. They are never used to train a model, ours or anyone else's. If you want a message deleted, write to us and we will delete it.
Analytics
We use privacy-respecting page analytics to count visits and see which analyses are read. This does not use cookies that follow you across sites and does not identify you. We do not run advertising trackers.
Retention
Newsletter addresses are kept until you unsubscribe. Messages and briefs are kept for as long as the conversation is live and for two years after, then deleted. Server logs are kept for thirty days.
Your rights
You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to hello@keep-thinking.com and a person will answer. If you are in the European Union or the United Kingdom you also have the right to complain to your data protection authority.
