Scoring & Validation

How is the KT Score calculated?

The KT Score is generated by our AI which evaluates 6 criteria: Market Opportunity (25%), Traction (20%), Pitch Clarity (15%), Competitive Positioning (15%), Team Strength (15%), and Profile Quality (10%). Each criterion is scored 1-10 and weighted to produce the final 0-100 score. The AI also conducts real-time market research to validate claims.

Why is the scoring AI-powered?

AI-powered scoring provides consistent, objective evaluation 24/7. Our AI can conduct real-time market research, analyze competitors, and provide detailed insights that would take hours for a human reviewer. Each evaluation includes strengths, weaknesses, and actionable recommendations.

Can I request a new evaluation?

Yes! You can request a new AI evaluation anytime from your startup dashboard. This is useful after making significant improvements to your profile, achieving new milestones, or pivoting your strategy. Each evaluation version is saved so you can track progress over time.

What's a good KT Score?

KT Scores range from 0-100: 0-39: Needs significant work, 40-59: Fair (early stage), 60-79: Good (solid foundation), 80-100: Excellent (investor-ready). The score also includes a confidence level (High, Medium, Low) based on the completeness of your profile.
